Jellyfish
Jelly fish are beautiful though we hate them for their stings
I was once so beautiful and now my pain does ring.
My body is a jellyfish, I'm see through, I'm a drifter
I'm hunted, I'm endangered from the hunter and afflicter
My body is so squishy, my legs are lighting streaks
But I cannot get close to others, or they will surely shriek.
I drift off all alone, the ocean is my friend
However when it leaves me, my life will surely end
I'm stuck inside this water, a cage that holds my life
If I just touch the sand, it feels like it's a knife
My colors stick right out, as I'm trying to be seen
